Republic Title of Texas, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Company, is a leading full-service title insurance agency dedicated to creating lasting relationships. With its roots beginning in 1965, Republic Title has grown into the largest title company in Texas, and the top national commercial escrow and title operation in the country. Each of our offices is staffed by highly-experienced underwriting associates, and closers who handle both the escrow and title aspects of each transaction from inception to completion. Our team of associates is provided with and trained in the systems technology necessary to perform most efficiently to meet customers’ expectations.
Republic Title’s Commercial Division is comprised of an extensive group of professional closing teams and staff attorneys. Our range of expertise consists of acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, construction-to-permanent financing conversions, and note sales for virtually every type of commercial property, including undeveloped land, office, multi-family, retail, hospitality, and industrial properties. CLICK HERE for more information about our Texas Commercial Division.We have the ability to issue title insurance policies in all counties in Texas on multiple underwriters that can insure, co-insure, or reinsure any single or multi-site transaction up to the maximum regulatory amount, and in excess of that amount through our secondary and tertiary reinsurance agreements.
Our National Commercial Division is part of a broad network of national underwriters giving us the capability to close and insure any single, multi-site, multi-state, and international transaction, regardless of size or number of sites involved. As a National Commercial Services office of First American Title Insurance Company, we have the ability to provide escrow services for lenders that require insured closing letters for out-of-state transactions, and to perform in-house First American underwriting analyses that might otherwise be delayed by the quality of responsiveness from the cooperating out-of-state agents.
